Biography
Kimberley has completed a research master’s degree in Educational Sciences and a research master’s degree in Methodology and Statistics, both at Utrecht University.
Research topic
Kimberley works together with Rens on how educational and psychological tests can be improved with new and existing statistical tools. One project focusses, for instance, on how (un)certainty in the test results of individual examinees can be estimated and expressed, to make sure that the test results are not interpreted with overconfidence. Another project combines information from tests with qualitative information of teachers to obtain more precise estimates of student abilities, using Bayesian statistics.

These projects are funded by an NWO talent grant Kimberley obtained in 2015.
