Biography
Elian is a second year student of the Master 'Methodology & Statistics for the Behavioural, Biomedical and Social Sciences' in Utrecht. Prior to that, he completed a bachelor in chemistry and psychology, both cum laude. He wrote his thesis for psychology at the Methodology & Statistics department under supervision of Rens about expert evaluation of scientific integrity among PhD candidates using the prior-data conflict. This year, Elian will do his master thesis at Utrecht Medical Centre and Sanquin about modelling yields of donors’ anti-D immunoglobins.
Research topic
Elian assists Rens with his work for De Jonge Akademie (Young Academy). He contributes on the topics of scientific integrity, co-authorship and gender inequality in science as a student assistant.
