Final submission deadline for the multilevel conference

Dear multilevel users,

The 11th International Multilevel Conference is held April 12-13, 2017. The FINAL SUBMISSION-DEADLINE for the multilevel conference has been set on February 16th. For more information go to


The conference will be about all aspects of statistical multilevel analysis: innovative applications, theory, software, and methodology. The conference will be in an informal style, with much room for discussion. It will be held in the city center of Utrecht, within a quarter hour walk or a five minute bus drive from the Central railway station.

Invited speakers are professors Ellen Hamaker and Laura Stapleton.

Pre- and post-conference workshop
The conference is preceded by a one-day workshop on April 11 on ‘Modeling Multilevel Data with Small Sample Sizes’ that is taught by Rens van der Schoot and Dan McNeish. A post-conference workshop will be held on April 14 on ‘Dynamic multilevel modeling with Mplus 8‘, taught by Ellen Hamaker. As there are no computers available in the conference center, all participants are requested to bring their own laptop computer to participate in the computer lab of the one-day workshop.

Young Researcher Award
The abstracts of four PhD students will be selected and these PhD students will be invited to present their work in a special symposium. The best presentation will be awarded during the closing ceremony with the ‘Best PhD Multilevel Presentation Award’ and he/she will get the conference fee reimbursed.
